Ground Training
Teaching horses (and people) how to do ground work. Excellent for developing an eye for the way your horse moves, improving fitness, checking in on the attitude level of a spicy horse, watching for lameness, exercise for horses that cannot be ridden and adding variety to work.
Foal Training
My favorite kind of training! Teaching the babies to trust us and giving them valuable life skills in the process. Topics include leading, yielding to pressure, lifting feet, tying, trailering, bathing, trail walking, being caught in the field, stabling, grooming and showing in hand. A good foundation makes for an easier time to continue training under saddle later on in life.
